Sally Howden was born18th August 1931 in Halton, Leeds to John William & Gladys Chadwick.
The youngest of four, she had two brothers, Lesley and Jack, and a sister, June.
She leaves behind her four daughters, Susan, Lyndsey Jennifer and Diane, and her granddaughters Emma and Sally. They will miss her more than words can say, but will remember her for her endless love, generosity, and spirit. She was always there for a hug, a chat, and a game of cards.
How did you find the energy, Mum,
To do all the things you did,
To be teacher, nurse and counselor,
To us, when were all kids.
How did you do it all, Mum,
Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
We just can't comprehend.
We see now it was love, Mum,
That made you come whenever we'd call
